Stay at home tonight

Well, let's start from yesterday..

Baby Swing and I followed Aunty Tay to Bangkit by taking 190 to fetch her kids after having our brunch. We board the bus(long time since I last took a bus after all the rides on Baby's car) and the ride seemed fine with all the talking with Baby weiwen.

Just when we are about to alight, there was this old lady standing infront of me wanting to tap her card before the bus stopped. Her right hand was on the right pole of the right exit while their left card prepared to tap the card.

And then... The bus braked.

It wasn't a harsh brake at all.

Unfortunately, the brake caused that old lady to miss her tap, her body turned round and I reached my hand to grab hold of her right hand. But I missed. Her weight shifted and she let go of her right hand grip before I could hold her hands. As she fell, her head dropped first but the door opened! At first I was praying that she wouldn't fall while the door was closed; she could have broke her backbone. Who knows the driver was so accurate in his stopping, the door opened and the old lady had her head hit right on the side of the cement pavement!

I saw that old lady unconscious for a couple of seconds. I was standing right behind her but I couldn't save her. I feel so fucking guilty.

And alot of people from the bus stop came to help her up. I was still on the staircase of the bus exit and there wasn't even any space to help that granny up with all the gravity pulling her down.

I felt very confused.

Was it my fault that I didn't manage to grab her hand before she fell?

Would other passengers think that she fell because I accidentally pushed her when actually she was the one who lost her balance???

Would people think that of me?

There were so many thoughts running in my mind.. No matter how hard I convinced myself that I really didn't touch the old lady at all and she fell purely because she lost control on the staircase of the bus, I reckon there isn't anybody in the bus who thinks that I might have accidentally pushed her down..

Luckily, that old lady regain her conscious after that couple of seconds and claimed she haven't got her card tapped. I went up the bus again to get it tapped and returned to her. And I saw the huge bump on the top of her head with red veins ready to burst anytime. I was afraid that it would bleed internally as it would be so fucking serious by then!

The old lady insisted that it's gonna be fine and all the kaypohs beside her who nv even helped her kept saying " Cannot de, must go see doctor de!" The bus captain was efficient; he called the HQ and came down to check out the old lady. I bet he's gonna face LOUD music when he gets back. This incident caused three other bus to jam behind in just a matter of four to five minutes.

I pray sincerely this old lady is going to be fine :)

Today, after staying at Baby's house for more than a month, I finally came home to meet my sister to go jalan jalan at Bugis. but we ended up accompanying mama to IMM. I guess the trip was great as I can never spend my days peacefully with my mother for consecutive days. Hahaas.

Back home, I continued with The18Shop's wholesale catalogue for Korean hair accessories, earrings, bracelets and necklaces..

We're going to flea at Padang this Saturday at the Starhub Urban Free-cum-Flea style run! There will be dance and singing performances with 2000 over runners, f&b like Frolick, popcorn, candy floss & also kids play area! It's a family event and Baby & I had chipped in every last cent we could find for this flea including buying more apparels as for the previous Saturday, we made a fucking big loss because of the heavy downpour THE WHOLE DAY! We only managed to cover back on Sunday (while forcing ourselves not to be reminded of Saturday's sales) so this time round we are all in!

Despite the fact that weather forecast showed occasional rains on that day. Baby and I are still gonna try our luck out :))

I'm going to sleep now to prepare for this flea, good luck to baby&i!
